WHAT IS ENERGY HEALING?

Reiki means universal life energy. Other words for it are Chi (Qi) or Prana. If you come from a western tradition, it might be best understood as spiritual healing. Regardless of what term you give it, the underlying principle is that there is a healing energy available to us, particularly through the practice of Reiki.

Reiki promotes holistic healing by directing energy through different channels of the body. Studies have shown Reiki can reduce stress and anxiety. Reiki treats the whole person.

The Reiki practitioner is trained to channel the Reiki energy to where the body needs it. It is important to understand that the Reiki always goes where it is needed and is not dependent upon the Reiki practitioner’s expertise.

We all have energy blockages—whether they manifest as physical or emotional ailments or relational issues. Reiki assists in clearing these blockages. All that is needed from you is an openness to the power of Reiki.
